VowCraft Weddings — Wedding Planning Studio Website
Romantic editorial site for VowCraft wedding planners — ivory, sage and gold design, arch imagery and a consultation flow for couples and their stories.
Challenge
VowCraft’s couples book on feeling, but the old site sold on logistics: package tables and supplier lists. The challenge was to design romance without cliché — an editorial, considered aesthetic that speaks to couples who care about design — while making the consultation feel like a conversation, not a sales call.
The wedding market also punishes sameness: blush-and-gold clichés make every planner interchangeable. VowCraft needed romance with an editorial edge — distinct enough to be remembered, warm enough to be trusted.
Approach
We designed a romantic-editorial experience in ivory with sage and gold accents, set in Cormorant Garamond. The hero photograph sits in an arch frame with a circular "est. 2015" badge; service cards echo the arch shape; and the headline — "Your day, composed like music" — sets the tone. Real-wedding photography carries the showcase; the process band promises calm; and testimonials are written as love notes to the planning experience itself.
We also limited the social proof to love notes about the planning experience, not just the day. Couples buy the months before the wedding as much as the day itself.
Design highlights
Highlights include the arch-framed hero with ring badge, arch-topped service cards, photographic real-wedding showcase, circular numbered process steps, and a sage CTA band. The positioning line "one wedding at a time" does quiet, powerful work against planner-factories.
The arch motif repeats at three scales — hero frame, service cards, process medallions — creating a visual rhythm that feels composed, like the weddings themselves.
Outcome
The site now attracts the studio’s ideal couples: design-conscious, calm, and ready to trust. Consultations feel like conversations, enquiries arrive with stories rather than spreadsheets, and the brand owns its romantic-editorial corner completely.
The studio now attracts design-conscious couples who reference specific weddings from the portfolio. "One wedding at a time" has become a genuine competitive moat. The enquiry form asks for stories, not just dates — and couples happily oblige.
