What is AI visibility (GEO / AEO)?
AI visibility is how often AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude — cite, quote or recommend your business inside the answers they generate. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) are the practices of earning that. Where classic SEO fights for a ranked link, GEO fights to be part of the answer itself.
How is this different from SEO?
It builds on SEO rather than replacing it. Google's AI Overviews run on core Search, so strong SEO still matters. But ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude use different signals — brand mentions, reviews, freshness and fact-density — so GEO is an additional layer on top of a solid technical foundation.
Do you guarantee AI citations?
No honest provider can guarantee a specific AI will cite you — the engines are probabilistic and change constantly. What is llms.txt and do I need it?
llms.txt is a simple file that points AI tools to your key content. It is not a magic ranking signal — Google has said it gives no special treatment for its AI features — but it helps some non-Google tools and, more importantly, auditing it surfaces crawler-blocking mistakes that silently hide you from AI. We handle it as part of the technical floor.
How long until we see results?
It varies by engine. Perplexity uses real-time search and can reflect changes within a few weeks. Google AI Overviews track your normal Search performance, so they move on your SEO timeline. Most clients see early share-of-answer movement within 6–8 weeks.
