Sharpline Barber Co. — Barbershop Website
A vintage-inspired website for Sharpline Barber Co. — service menu, master barber profiles, shop tour and online booking in walnut and copper tones.
Challenge
Sharpline has cut hair the same careful way since 1987, but its website was a single page with a phone number — invisible to anyone searching for a barber who didn't already know the shop. Founder Frank Delgado wanted the site to feel like the shop itself: walnut wood, brass, jazz on the radio, and the unhurried confidence of craftsmen who've done this for decades.
Approach
We built a retro-vintage language around dark walnut backgrounds, copper accents, and Playfair Display SC headlines that feel letterpressed. Real photography shows the work honestly — a master barber mid-cut, the row of vintage chairs, the tools of the trade. The service menu is the centerpiece, written like the shop's wall menu with honest descriptions and a note that prices are posted in-shop and quoted before work begins — a trust signal regulars will recognise. Barber profiles lead with years in the chair and specialities, because in this trade, the person matters more than the brand.
Design highlights
The hero layers the headline over a photographic barbershop scene with a striped barber pole motif beside the "Est. 1987" eyebrow. The bordered service menu uses dotted leaders between service and price, echoing printed menus. A dedicated "tools" section with close-up photography tells the craft story — razors honed in-house daily — and the four-step "Sharpline ritual" section walks newcomers through booking to finish. Copper rules and dividers tie every section to the shop's brass fixtures.
Outcome
The site now does what the shop's reputation always did: it makes the craft tangible before a first visit. New clients arrive knowing the services, the barbers, and the ritual — and regulars finally have a booking link worth sharing. The vintage aesthetic is distinctive without being kitschy, and every element reinforces the same message: this is a proper barbershop.
