Flowstate Yoga — Yoga Studio Website

Challenge

Flowstate Yoga had a loyal core of regulars but struggled to convert curious beginners. The old site listed class names with no descriptions, no schedule clarity, and photography that felt more like a stock library than a studio. Founder Maya Lindqvist wanted a website that felt like walking into the studio itself: warm, unhurried, and welcoming to someone who has never done a downward dog.

Approach

We designed around a nature-organic language — warm sand backgrounds, clay accents, and Cormorant Garamond headlines that breathe. Real photography does the heavy lifting: a sunrise class in the hero, the founder's portrait, and the sunlit studio interior. Copy was written to lower the barrier for beginners at every turn — "open to all levels, variations offered throughout" — and the free first class offer is repeated as a gentle invitation rather than a sales push. Trust is built through specifics: class sizes capped at fourteen, teacher credentials, and a full weekly schedule with real class names and times.

Design highlights

The hero uses an arched photo frame — a soft architectural nod to the studio's calm — with a floating "small classes" badge overlapping the image. Six class cards each carry a distinct pastel gradient swatch with a line icon, making the schedule scannable at a glance. The dark weekly-schedule section presents four sample days in a clean grid, and the closing CTA panel offers the first class free with no card required. Rounded pill buttons and generous whitespace keep the whole experience feeling unhurried.

Outcome

The site now answers every question a nervous beginner has before they ask it: what classes exist, when they run, who teaches them, what the room looks like, and what it costs to try. The tone is consistently invitational rather than transactional, which matches how the studio actually grows — one welcomed newcomer at a time. The design gives Flowstate a distinct, ownable identity in a crowded wellness market.
