The brief
Build a calculator portal for US and UK audiences that strips away every friction modern tool sites add: ads, sign-up walls, slow framework bundles, cookie banners, tracking pixels. The flagship is a mortgage calculator that returns monthly payment and total cost instantly, surrounded by 78 other tools for financial, health, mathematical, and everyday calculations.
Approach
Vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no React, no Vue, no jQuery, no framework. Every page is server-rendered for instant first paint. Each calculator's logic lives in its own self-contained JS file so a single page never ships more than 5–10 KB of client code. Mobile-first layout with no horizontal scroll on any screen ≥ 320 px.
