LinguaFlow — Language School Website
Playful rounded site for LinguaFlow language school — coral and navy palette, course cards and a free-trial booking flow for future polyglots.
Challenge
LinguaFlow’s method — small groups, conversation-first — is its edge, but the old site led with grammar tables and exam results. The challenge was to sell the joy of speaking: a site that feels like the first day of a trip abroad, while making the free trial the obvious, risk-free next step.
Language schools also fight the "I tried an app" objection: visitors assume they’ll quit like they quit the app. The site had to sell what apps can’t — humans, laughter, and the accountability of a real class.
Approach
We designed a playful-rounded experience in warm white with coral and navy accents and Quicksand throughout. The hero headline — "Speak like you live there" — is the entire promise, beside a card summarising languages, class size and method. Course cards are soft and pill-shaped; the language showcase uses gradient cards with personality ("twelve ways to say hello"); and the process band ends at conversation clubs and film nights. The free trial is repeated everywhere, always with "no card required."
We also designed every risk-reversal into the page: free trial, no card required, level check before commitment. The only thing a visitor risks is an enjoyable hour.
Design highlights
Highlights include the warm hero with a course-summary card, pill CTAs, rounded course cards with tilt hover, gradient language showcase, and a four-step trial-to-fluent process. Testimonials sell moments — the Roman waiter who did not switch to English — which is what language learners are really buying.
Coral carries the warmth, navy the credibility — neither shouts. The rounded geometry stays friendly at every breakpoint, which matters for the parent audience.
Outcome
The site now converts curiosity into trial bookings at a pace the old grammar-table site never managed. Trial-to-enrolment starts from genuine enthusiasm, and the brand owns the joyful corner of language learning.
Trial bookings skew toward genuine beginners — the audience most likely to convert to long-term students. The free trial has become the school’s best teacher.
